After being broken up for five years, Ween reunited with a series of performances at the 1stBANK Center in Broomfield, Colorado. A year and a half later, the beloved band will return to the colorful state and make their return to renowned Morrison, CO venue, Red Rocks Amphitheatre!Ween has announced a performance at Red Rocks on July 12th, their first at the famed venue since 2009. This show marks their sixth-ever performance on the Rocks, but also their first since reuniting. Meanwhile, Vallacar Transit Inc.(VTI), the operator of Ceres buses, which provides majority of the bustransport service in Negros Occidental, is not participating in the transportstrike. Jesideth Marquez-Seballos, VTI legaland media relations manager, said the bus company has already completed themodernization of its fleet in 2014. BACOLOD City – Gov.Eugenio Jose Lacson of Negros Occidental supports the modernization of publicutility vehicles (PUVs). In Negros Occidental, two majortransport groups – Sentrong Samahan ng Tsuper at Operators Negros Inc. (SSTONE)and Federation of Bacolod City Drivers Associations Inc. (FEBACDA) – will jointoday’s nation-wide strike. Lacson noted that a lot of passengerjeepneys, especially those in Metro Manila, are already old, thus the need tomodernize PUVs. In a statement, both SSTONE andFEBACDA said that drivers and operators are not against the modernizationitself, but the cost of Class 3 vehicles which is P2.4 million per unit.
