Charities working with the site include Tommy’s, Shelter and Christian Aid.CharityCheckout’s site includes a blog with updates on its progress. CharityCheckout is a recently-launched online shopping mall which “donates an average of 75% of incoming money to charities who sign up to our scheme”.The site was set up by a group of four friends, including a former supporter recruitment manager at an international development charity.Charitycheckout is a not-for-profit organisation and its founders say that the remaining 25% is reinvested into the site. They aim to increase donation levels to 90%.
